puff pastry
3/4 cup | 175 mL
all purpose flour
1 tsp | 5 mL
vanilla extract
3/4 cup | 175 mL
milk
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp | 10 mL
butter, melted
1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
1 pkg | 200 g
Arla® Havarti Cheese, Creamy, coarsely grated
1/2 cup | 125 mL
seedless raspberry jam
confectioners’ sugar for garnish
Directions
Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
In a medium bowl, combine flour, vanilla, milk, eggs and melted butter;using an electric mixer or by hand, beat until smooth.
Spray a 9” x 13” pan with non-stick cooking spray. Roll out pastry to fit pan with a 1/2” edge along the sides. Pour mixture into pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Top with pear slices and Havarti Cheese. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until light and golden. Remove from oven, place teaspoonfuls of raspberry jam randomly onto top and cool. When ready to serve, dust with confectioners’ sugar and slice into squares.
